Pet Society is an internet social game developed by Playfish. The game which is launched within Facebook has been ranked as the most popular Facebook application.[1][2] Players can choose a pet, choose the sex, the name, the colour, the features (ears, nose, mouth etc.), and even visit friends and bring gifts for them. The pet has to be fed, washed and made happy by visiting friends, caressing him and playing with him. The more you play, the more your experience points grow and so more items become available for your pet and your house gains more and more rooms. Of course, you can decorate your rooms with the things you buy in shops.

Pet Society keeps its popularity by bringing new items to all its stores each week, it keeps attracting new user through its long continued efforts to stay updated, bringing new features as recycling and photocaptation. Currently Pet Society features the next stores and places at its standar village:
*Luxury (here you can find the most expensive things: expensive furniture, expensive wallpapers, guitars, Jacuzzis and many other)

*Stadium (here you can compete at the Hurdles race and bet on your friends' results in races; if you guess you win the double)

*Food store (you can find for example apples, pears, bananas, bread, cheese, meatballs, melons etc.)

*Furniture (you can find furniture which is much cheaper and simpler than the Luxury's one, and you also can find plants)

*Mystery Shop (you find mystery boxes in which you can find whatever, and if you are lucky you find things that cost much more than the box and so you have saved money)
